Practice on this device

Guest practice drafts, mistakes and progress are saved in this browser. When signed in, new submitted practice and self-reviews are also saved to your account where supported; the practice screen reports whether the account save succeeds. Previous browser history is not automatically uploaded. Clearing browser storage does not delete server-saved submissions.

Accounts and competition

When account services are connected, account details and competitive attempts are stored on the server. Public boards show your chosen alias only if you opt in. Your email and account name are not shown to opponents.

Your school and teachers

Your teacher sets your class name from the register. Personal invitations require the invited verified email and teacher approval. Authorised class staff can review assignment answers, submitted working, hints reported by the screen and their feedback. Independent question practice is shared only when you enable it for that class, and only for submissions since joining. You can stop that sharing in My classes. Private AI discussions are not part of school reports.

Optional AI feedback

Requesting AI feedback sends the selected question and submitted working to the configured AI service. Do not include personal or confidential information in working or uploaded images. AI interview access is restricted to invited, verified pilot accounts when configured.

The private interview pilot saves text discussions and transcript drafts for restoration. They expire after 24 hours and are removed on subsequent server activity, or when you clear the discussion. Torus Maths does not save raw audio or working images in that pilot; the configured provider processes recordings while you enable the microphone and changed snapshots when you hand over under its separate retention terms. Browser dictation may use your browser’s speech service. Guided interview drafts stay in page memory unless you download them or save a question to Try again.
