Each level has 20 problem families, with three related versions per family. The same mathematical questions appear on both boards at that level, with the appropriate exam layout and marks.
These are original stretch questions within the shared specification content. The A-level bank takes inspiration from the combinations of methods used in difficult MadasMaths practice. “Extreme” describes our editorial difficulty judgement; it is not an official grade boundary.
Work on paper or save your working here, reveal a hint if you need one, then compare your method with the solution. Anything you want to revisit can go into your Try again bank.
