University interview practice
Interview practice
Maths, physics or engineering. Explain your thinking as the discussion develops.
Start your interview
Choose your subject. The interviewer sets the opening problem, follows your reasoning and decides when to push further or change direction.
20 minutes · All topics · Whiteboard or paper
AI is not connected here. You can start the full board-and-paper workspace with clearly labelled guided follow-ups.
How it works
The AI asks one question at a time, using your explanation and shared working to choose a follow-up, offer a prompt or move to another problem. There is no fixed hint sequence. References open when you finish. Guided mode uses authored prompts and does not assess your reasoning.
Knowledge assumed: AS + early Year 13. Algebra, quadratics, inequalities and functions · Coordinate geometry and graph transformations · Sequences, binomial expansion with positive integer powers · Basic trigonometry and radians · Exponentials and logarithms · Polynomial differentiation and integration · Gradients, stationary points and areas · Basic probability, forces, motion and modelling. Tell the interviewer if a technique is unfamiliar.
One AI interview every 7 days, shared across the three subjects: up to 20 active minutes, 24 discussion replies and a final review, subject to the spending allowance. Up to 24 working readings. AI discussion is in private testing.
